Today, the proceedings of the VIII Congress of Medicine began, with the theme “Health Promotion and Education – On the 40th anniversary of the Ottawa Charter: Together for health and well-being”.
During this two-day congress, which is being held at the Emerald Hotel in Pristina, more than 130 scientific papers will be presented by local and international lecturers. The focus will be on important public health issues, with special emphasis on health promotion and education, as well as on their role in improving the health and well-being of citizens.
The Congress aims to create a space for the exchange of experiences and scientific knowledge between health professionals, as well as to contribute to the advancement of health practices and policies.
The topics to be addressed are of particular importance to the medical community, health institutions and the general public, encouraging discussion on current public health challenges and opportunities for building a healthier society. /KosovaPress/
