The Special Prosecutor’s Office of Kosovo claims that a document entitled “Leptiri” was found in the seized phone of Fatmir Sheholli, which, according to the indictment, contains an operational plan of the structures of the State Security of Serbia for compromising and recruiting Albin Kurti while he was serving his sentence in Serbian prisons.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the document dates from 2001 and provided for the use of a source with the nickname “Leptiri” for providing compromising materials to Kurti, with the aim of exerting pressure for cooperation with the structures of the RDB.
The document, provided by RTK, which according to the indictment was signed by the head of Sector III of the Serbian State Security, was found on an iPhone seized from Seholli. During the statement before the Prosecutor’s Office, Sheholli said that the document was sent to him by Bojan Dimić, whom the Prosecutor’s Office identifies as a BIA official.
The indictment claims that the document was then distributed to other people and that Sheholli had also requested its translation from Serbian to Albanian. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, these communications are important to prove Seholli’s contacts with persons connected to the Serbian security structures.
The indictment also mentions other communications, including those of December 2024 with a person identified as Viktor Petrushevski, through which, according to the Prosecution, Sheholli had organized a meeting with Bojan Dimić. The meeting is claimed to have taken place on December 25, 2024.
All these materials have been included by the Special Prosecution in the indictment against Fatmir Sheholli, who is accused of espionage and blackmail. The allegations of the indictment constitute charges of the Prosecution and will be assessed by the court during the judicial process.
