The acting Minister of Youth and Sports in Kosovo, Blerim Gashani, has described the signing of the Declaration of Intent for the establishment of the Franco-Kosovar Committee to support the organization of the Prishtina 2030 Mediterranean Games, as well as the Loan Agreement with the French Development Agency (AFD) as a historic moment for Kosovo sports.
Through a post on Facebook, Gashani said that these two documents represent a decisive step in the journey towards the organization of the Prishtina 2030 Mediterranean Games and will support infrastructure investments in the framework of preparations for this sports event.
He emphasized that since the first day of taking office as minister, one of the main priorities has been the creation of conditions for the realization of this strategic partnership. According to him, after months of intensive work, institutional coordination and cooperation with international partners, the process was crowned with the signing of these agreements, which, as he said, open a new chapter for sports and the development of sports infrastructure in Kosovo.
Gashani thanked the French Republic, the French Development Agency (AFD), as well as all the partners and institutions that contributed to this process, assessing that this is the result of joint work and a clear vision to position Kosovo among the organizers of the largest international sports events. /KosovaPress/
