The acting Minister of Youth and Sports of Kosovo, Blerim Gashani, has presented in Paris Kosovo’s vision for the organization of the Mediterranean Games 2030, within the framework of the RIGES 2026 conference, emphasizing that this organization represents the largest development project in the country’s sports history.
According to Gashan, the 2030 Mediterranean Games will not only be a sporting event, but a catalyst for strategic investments, building modern infrastructure, empowering young people, economic development and advancing sports diplomacy.
He emphasized that the organization of this event will put Kosovo on the map of organizers of important international events and will prove that the country is ready to organize events according to the highest standards.
“Our message is clear: Kosovo is open to partnerships, to expertise, to innovation and to international cooperation. The success of the Mediterranean Games will be built on trust, friendship and cooperation with our partners,” Gashani declared.
The minister in office has added that the journey towards 2030 has already started, describing this as the beginning of a new era for Kosovar sports, youth and the international image of the Republic of Kosovo.
“The 2030 Mediterranean Games have begun. Now is the time to build together the legacy that will remain for generations”, he concluded.
