CEC announces tomorrow the final results of early elections in Kosovo

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kosovo will announce on Saturday the final results of the early parliamentary elections held on June 7. The CEC spokesperson, Valmir Elezi, has confirmed that the next meeting of the Commission will take place tomorrow, June 27 at 11:00 a.m., where the official announcement of the results is expected to be approved.

“I inform you that on Saturday (June 27, 2026, 11:00) the Central Election Commission will hold its next meeting. On the agenda is the announcement of the final results of the early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo”, said Elezi.

The decision comes after the Supreme Court rejected today the complaints of two candidates of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Bekim Haxhiu and Qendrim Kryeziu, who had requested a full recount of their party’s votes.

The rejection of the appeals by the Supreme Court has opened the way for the CEC to finalize the election process.

The June 7 elections were called early after the fall of the government led by Albin Kurti. The CEC has a legal deadline to announce the final results within 30 days from the day of voting.
