On the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the creation of the Kosovo Police, the Director General of the State Police, major manager Ilir Proda, at the invitation of the Director General of the Police of the Republic of Kosovo, Colonel Gazmend Hoxha, paid a visit to the General Directorate of Kosovo Police.
Director General Ilir Proda was received by his counterpart, Colonel Gazmend Hoxha, who thanked him for the invitation and for the opportunity for the State Police to be part of the celebrations.
“I am honored and proud to have the privilege that, on behalf of the Albanian State Police, to wish the Kosovo Police for the 26th anniversary of its creation. Those men and women who fought for freedom yesterday, today fight and work for the security of our state and our citizens. I am here to congratulate our brothers and sisters on the work, sacrifice and results achieved for more than two and a half decades.“
He said: “The Kosovo Police has proven professionalism and dedication to the service of the citizens, while our partnership remains a strong guarantee for common security. I wish you to hold the flag of your state and the national state, and to fulfill our mission as difficult and noble as possible: to protect life with life. I wish the best for all men, women, boys and girls of Kosovo and, in the spirit of brotherhood, to strengthen cooperation to hit organized crime and trafficking.”
Colonel Gazmend Hoxha thanked Director Proda and the delegation he accompanied for the presence in the activities on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the creation of the Kosovo Police, stressing that this excellent cooperation between the two police will deepen for the benefit of the citizens of the two countries.
Subsequently, the State Police Volleyball team played a friendly match with the Kosovo Police Volleyball Team, which also attended the two directors, Proda and Hoxha.
At the end of the match, the two directors exchanged jerseys and emphasized that this activity was another indication of strengthening the cooperation and spirit of friendship between the two police.
