The Vetëvendosje movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo have not reached an agreement on the formation of new institutions even in the next meeting. Albin Kurti and Lumir Abdixhiku met after the meeting of the LDK Parliamentary Group, but the talks ended without a concrete result.
After the meeting, Kurti said that there is no news as long as there is no agreement, adding that the parties will talk only when they reach an agreement. This was the second meeting between the two leaders in two days, while the previous talks did not bring a political solution.
However, negotiations remain open and contacts between the two parties are expected to continue. Meanwhile, the chairman of LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, did not make any statement to the media after the end of the meeting. In the absence of an agreement on the main issues, including the election of the president, the possibility of holding new elections remains on the table.
Meanwhile, the Assembly of Kosovo has announced that the constitutive session will take place on Thursday, starting at 10:00. On the agenda are the verification of the mandates of the deputies, their oath, the election of the President of the Assembly and the election of the vice-presidents.
