Ultrasound support from TİKA to Serbia

The Presidency of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) supported the health center in Velika Plana, Serbia.

TIKA was delivered to the Gynecology Department of Doctor Milan – Bane Djordjevic Health Center in Velika Plana.

Speaking at the ceremony, Türkiye’s Ambassador to Belgrade İlhan Saygılı, Türkiye’s activities in the Balkans in the region has made significant contributions to the peace and stability of the region, he said.

Saygılı stated that it is of great importance to support the health institutions on the route used by the Turkish expatriates living in Europe extensively, and that the health projects implemented by TİKA will be pleased to serve the people of the two countries.

Thanks to the modern ultrasound device provided by TİKA, it is aimed to increase pregnancy, early diagnosis of increased cancer cases and increase the service capacity of the center.
