Professional units from Polná and Žďár nad Sázavou went to the fire together with volunteer firefighters from the wider area. Firefighters had to announce the second level of fire alarm.
“Approximately two thousand piglets died in the fire, another 400 piglets were saved. Property damage caused by the fire was estimated at 14 million crowns. The cause of the fire remains under investigation,” said fire department spokeswoman Petra Musilová.
