Trakya University participated in the “Turkey-Balkans Media Forum” organized by the Presidency of Communication Presidency in Ankara.
According to a statement from the university, “the construction of the common future in the age of communication” in the theme of the forum, the current developments in the field of media and communication, public diplomacy and fight against disinformation issues were discussed.

The opening of the forum was opened with the speech of the President of the Presidency Fahrettin Altun.
Within the scope of the event, panels titled “Türkiye’s friendly hand approach to the Balkans from the perspective of public diplomacy”, “Media, Communication and Information in the Digital Age: Opportunities and Threats” and “Crisis of Truth: Disinformation, Lying News and Perception Management” were organized.
In the forum, academics, journalists, media professionals and representatives of public institutions exchanged views.
