Three head shots to the face. A thirteen-year-old Iraqi attacked a bus driver in Leipzig, the driver is in a coma

According to the police report, the incident took place on Wednesday around seven o’clock in the evening on bus number 90. The conflict happened after the driver warned a group of noisy youths to quiet down at one stop.

“There was a physical conflict with a thirteen-year-old boy, during which the bus driver was injured and had to be hospitalized,” reads the police report, which the Bild newspaper described as “reservedly worded.”

But what happened on the bus was, according to the letter, “much more dramatic”. The driver received at least three head blows to the face from the 13-year-old aggressor, who was born in Iraq and is listed as a recidivist in Germany.

The driver collapsed to the ground with bleeding wounds and the emergency services took him to the hospital. There, doctors diagnosed him with a stroke, but it is said that it is not clear whether the blows directly caused it or “just created the conditions” for it.

Experts will have to clarify that. According to the cited newspaper, the fact is that the driver did not show any symptoms of a stroke before the attack.

He is not at risk of criminal prosecution

The Iraqi fled from the bus after the crime, but the police quickly identified her and caught her. In addition to the fact that the young man already has a number of records in the police register, he does not go to school.

He does not have to worry about criminal prosecution, because in Germany the limit of criminal liability applies from the age of 14. The case will be handled by the Office for Children and Youth.

In the meantime, the police, according to Focus magazine, called on witnesses to the incident to come forward and help clarify the exact circumstances of the attack.
