There will be no flights from Azerbaijan to Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday either. Schools in the north of the country and north of Haifa were closed due to the air raid warning. Two of the rockets fired at Nahariya fell into the sea, The Times of Israel reported.
On Tuesday night, the Israeli Air Force continued airstrikes in the south of Lebanon. The target was primarily Hezbollah’s position opposite the Israeli town of Afula, where they managed to destroy a launch device aimed at Israel. Israel detected twenty of them in the valleys. Secondary explosions were visible in some of the affected houses, which indicates that weapons and ammunition were hidden there. The Israeli armed forces published footage of the attacks.

On Monday, Israel already showed footage of previously hit houses, where weapons and ammunition can be seen. In one shot of a house in the village of Humina al-Tahta, published in The Times of Israel, a long-range missile can be seen on the ground on a launch pad, and in another, even a missile with a flat flight path.
The hardest blow to Lebanon in two decades
According to the Lebanese government, Monday’s airstrikes in the south of Lebanon left 492 dead and 1,645 injured. It is the highest number of victims per day since Israel’s war with Hezbollah in the summer of 2006. Among the dead are 35 children and 68 women, the BBC quoted the Lebanese authorities as saying. It is not clear how many of the dead men were Hezbollah fighters. Thousands of people were driven out by airstrikes. US President Joe Biden said that the US is working on a de-escalation that will allow people to return home safely.
The Israel Defense Forces report that 1,600 targets were hit and the airstrikes destroyed infrastructure used by Hezbollah. He fired 200 rockets at Israel on Monday.
The Pentagon announced that the US had sent another small number of US troops to the area.
