Kuleba stated in the post that two people were injured as a result of the attack and were given medical assistance. According to him, both ships that the Russians attacked remain afloat. “There was a fire on the spot, which the rescuers quickly located,” wrote Kuleba. According to Kiper, the Ukrainians managed to extinguish the fire quickly.
Both politicians then stated that the Ukrainian authorities are investigating the attack on ships flying the flags of Palau and Barbados as a war crime. “Law enforcement agencies are recording other war crimes committed by the Russian occupiers,” Kiper wrote. In addition to ships, Moscow also hit administrative buildings and a grain warehouse in the port.
None of the politicians, however, specified which port in the Odesa region was the target of the attack.
The Russians also attacked the Zaporozhye region, in which the strikes claimed the life of a 30-year-old woman. A 10-year-old boy and a 48-year-old man were also injured.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported on Friday morning that the Russians attacked a total of 156 drones, of which Kyiv managed to destroy 133.
