Terra Drone is expanding its activities in Ukraine, moving from plans to real investments and involvement in combat conditions. The company primarily plans research and production, but also the deployment of its own engineers directly on the front line, which is a key step in improving the defense strategy.
Terra Drone cooperates with the Ukrainian startup Amazing Drones and became the first Japanese investor in a Ukrainian defense company. The company is developing drones that can detect and neutralize the Iranian Martyrs used by Russia. Their technologies are rapidly improving thanks to experience from the front.
The company’s drones have attracted interest from the countries of the Persian Gulf, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. According to the Reuters agency, they are considering the purchase of fighter drones at a price of 2,500 dollars as a cost-effective way to counter Iranian attacks, which are depleting the stockpile of American-made missiles.
Japan has already promised Ukraine approximately 20 billion dollars in aid, mainly humanitarian, financial and reconstruction. This is a form of support given by the country’s constitution, which renounces war and imposes restrictions on the export of weapons.
