We owe the current weather to the area of high air pressure, when warm air flows towards us from the south and east in the upper layers of the atmosphere. This should continue in the following days.
“In places where the fog and low cloud cover will dissolve in the morning, the end of the week will be sunny and the highest afternoon temperatures will be very pleasant. It will be windy only in the surroundings of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands and on the mountains – gusts of wind will reach speeds of up to 70 kilometers per hour,” stated Honsová.
On Thursday after the morning mists and low cloud cover dissolve, we will see clear or semi-clear skies with afternoon temperatures between 13 and 18 °C. Due to the windy weather, the temperature in the Bohemian-Moravian highlands and its surroundings will only be around 9 °C.
Fog and low clouds frame i Friday morning. At the same time, the places can be maintained for most of the day. Otherwise, it should be cloudy or clear again with temperatures between 14 and 18 °C. Where the fog persists, it will be around 10 °C at most. Morning lows should be between 8 and 4 °C.
On Saturday and Sunday the forecast equally promises partly clear or clear skies, in the morning in places with low cloud cover, which rarely lasts for most of the day. Morning lows will remain between 8 and 4 °C, during the day it will be between 14 and 18 °C on both days. Where the fog persists, the highest temperatures will remain around 12 °C. Windy weather will continue in the area of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands during the weekend.
On Monday it will still be mostly clear or partly clear, in places again with fog and low clouds. “Later in the afternoon, cloud cover will increase from the northwest and rain or showers will appear in places,” said Honsová. The lowest temperatures will remain in the range of 8 to 4 °C, daily maximums rise to 13 to 17 °C.
On Tuesday it will be cloudy to overcast, with rain or showers in places. The morning lows will not change and will remain between 8 and 4 °C, during the day we will see temperatures from 11 to 15 °C.
Wednesday should offer mostly partly cloudy skies, again with fog and low clouds in the morning. The lowest temperatures will drop to 6 to 2 °C, daily maximums will rise to 13 to 17 °C. Under low cloud cover, temperatures will not rise above 12 °C.
