The Chairman of the Central Election Commission in Kosovo, Kreshnik Radoniqi, announced that after the end of the appeal procedures, the circumstances have been created for the announcement of the final results of the early parliamentary elections on June 7.
“Vetëvendosje movement has won 47% with 53 seats, Democratic Party of Kosovo 19.44% with 22 deputies, Democratic League of Kosovo 16.69% 18 seats and Alliance for the Future of Kosovo 6.74% will be represented with 7 deputies”, he said.
The head of the CEC informed that from the subjects of the communities, the Serbian List has 9 seats in the new Assembly, the Turkish Democratic Party of Kosovo 2 deputies, while the other non-majority parties have 1 seat.
Radoniqi stated that the parties have the right to appeal to the Electoral Panel for Complaints and Submissions within a period of 48 hours against the decision of the CEC, according to him, if there are no complaints, then the Central Election Commission will continue the process with the certification of the results, which will then pave the way for the creation of new institutions.
