The attacks on Iran will last four weeks

“It’s always been a four-week process. We thought it would be about four weeks. It’s always been about a four-week process, so – although it’s massive, it’s a big country, it’s going to take four weeks – or less,” the president told the Daily Mail.

He said that he was not surprised by any of the results of the attacks so far. “I think it’s going according to plan. We’ve eliminated their entire leadership, much, much more than we expected. It looks like 48 people,” he said.

According to Trump, he is open to further negotiations with the Iranians, but he did not want to give a time frame for whether the talks could take place soon. “I don’t know,” answered the president when asked when the talks could take place. “They want talks, but I said they should have talked to us last week, not this week.”

The United States and Israel launched a large-scale attack on Iranian targets on Saturday. Tehran responded by firing missiles and sending drones at Israel and US bases in the region. Among other things, Iran’s supreme spiritual leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed during Operation Epic Fury.
