Today marks the 27th anniversary of the Dubrava Massacre, one of the most tragic events of the war in Kosovo and a symbol of the suffering of Albanians during the Serbian regime.
At 11:00 a.m., memorial tributes will be held in Dubrava Prison in honor of the victims, wounded and survivors of this massacre.
The commemorative activity is organized on the 27th anniversary of the massacre that took place during the period 19–24 May 1999, when dozens of Albanian prisoners were killed and hundreds of others were injured inside Dubrava Prison.
The organizers have invited former prisoners, family members of the victims, survivors of the massacre and interested citizens to participate in the memorial ceremony.
