After years, when many other bands would only benefit from their past glory and maintain their position, Tata Boyz allow themselves to serve new quality work and a concert show. What about the fact that they came from the alternative scene and still sympathize with their current popularity, which is evidenced by the two and a half thousand people who came to the concert on Thursday.
Their set in the sold-out Karlín Forum in Prague was proof that when you add experience and a dedicated production team that you can firmly rely on to unceasing talent, a fresh perspective on the song and creative meticulousness, an audience experience is born. Like at a big mainstream concert.
If the musicians on the stage were a little heavy-handedly praising the happiness they felt from it all, and believed that the fans present also felt it, only with the passage of time did it become clear that these were sincere words, not a phrase for moments when no one on the scene wants to say anything.

Tata Boys had it under control
They are Tata Boyz, one of those who don’t worry too much about the cover word at their concerts. Perhaps it is an item that, with their sense of detail, they will bring to a meaningful fulfillment in the following years.
They released a new record on Thursday. It’s their eleventh, it’s called In the original dream, it refers a little to the world of film and a little to the playfulness with words they use when texting.
Above all, he offers very good songs, some of which were also performed at the Karlín Forum. In concert performance, they still do not surpass the older ones, but listening to the album gives hope that a few new releases could succeed in this regard.
Attention-grabbing restlessness
The band relied on songs that have already passed through the net of time, as well as on the visual side of the concert, which did not allow the audience’s eyes to turn off even for a moment, because that is where it is strong. The pre-recorded projections alternated with shots from the stage, and in everything there was a touch of a kind of restlessness that attracted the necessary attention as a result.
Milan Cais, who definitively moved from the percussion instruments to the position of frontman, i.e. to the front microphone, sang with gusto, calmness and insight and added a few light dance moves or an eye-catching fall from an elevated surface.
The guests present also took care of two significant moments of the evening. The compositions that Tata Bojs sang and performed with Vladimir 518 and the band Mutanti hledaj vydíško are interesting at the first listen, arranged in a cheesy way and powerful in interpretation. Without difficulty, they lined up next to those that the audience expected and sang with the band. And some even slightly exceeded.

The work of the sound engineer must also be praised, who managed to prepare a very legible sound, just loud and persistent, for the singing and dancing fans present.
When Tata Boys then announced another concert at the same place on February 27, 2027, all the joy in that big club was sincere.
