Shooting and fire near the Serbian Parliament – one injured and one arrested

A serious incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon near the Serbian Parliament building in Belgrade, where a fire broke out in a camp of tents set up outside the National Assembly.

According to reports from the state agency Tanjug, the police have arrested a man on suspicion of injuring another person with a firearm. The injured was immediately transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

At the scene are numerous police forces, a prosecutor and teams of firefighters who have intervened to put out the flames.
