Russian youths set fire to a Russian Mi-8 helicopter right at the airport

The incident occurred on Wednesday in the early hours of the morning, when the two young men broke into the airport in the city of Nojabrsk. “Thirteen-year-old Timur and fourteen-year-old Saša sneaked into the guarded area through a hole in the fence. Then they ran away through the same opening. Now the boys are in the hospital under the supervision of security,” the Baza channel reported.

According to the Ukrainian newspaper, after the fire started, both boys ran away, but were caught an hour later. They tried to set fire to the helicopter by dousing it with flammable liquid and throwing a lit cigarette on it. But one was not enough, so one of the young men lit another one and put it in a flammable liquid, which subsequently exploded.

Both boys suffered serious facial burns and after escaping from the airport called an ambulance, which took them to the hospital, where they are now guarded by members of the Russian authorities.

Channel Baza further stated that the helicopter was almost completely destroyed, only the tail part remained intact.

The father of one of the teenagers is currently fighting in the war against Ukraine, the Telegram channel concluded.
