At the beginning of last week, at the John F Kennedy Airport in Queens, Dali boarded the completely full flight 265 of Delta Airlines. According to the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA), she went through security before that, but no one checked her ticket or passport.

“TSA can confirm that a person without a ticket passed a physical search and no prohibited items were found on him. This person bypassed two identity and ticket verification checks and boarded the plane,” the TSA said in a statement.

According to other passengers, she avoided the crew’s suspicions for a long time by walking from one toilet to another without sitting down among the passengers, reports The Guardian. Eventually, however, the flight attendants noticed her. The pilot then announced it to the passengers. “They ordered us to keep everyone inside the plane until we deal with the extra passenger,” he told them.

After arriving in Paris, Daliová was taken care of by the French authorities because she did not have a visa to enter the country. They told the media that she is a citizen of Russia, but lives in the US legally. On Saturday, she was placed on the plane back to New York at Charles de Gaulle Airport, but she started to behave “rebelliously”, so she was taken away from the plane and remains in France for the time being.

The incident at the French airport is being investigated by both Delta and the FBI. The TSA wants to find out how Dali managed to bypass almost all checks at the New York airport.
