Rainy Weather Awaits Turkey

Türkiye is under the influence of rainy weather that will last for 10 days.

General Directorate of Meteorology Meteorologist Murat Acar gave information to the AA correspondent about the expected weather conditions in the country.

Reminding that they stated that Turkey will be under the influence of rainy and cool weather coming from the Balkans, Acar said, “A rainy system is coming, but since it lands in the Mediterranean, it will be warm. Temperatures were above the seasonal normal, and with the precipitation, it will drop to around seasonal norms.” he said.

Murat Acar stated that the rainy system started today and will show itself tomorrow and over the weekend.

Stating that tomorrow the rains will be heavy in the south of Marmara, the Western Black Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean, Acar said, “On Saturday, the rainy system will show itself a little more. It will spread over a wider area. The coastal Aegean part of the Aegean Region and Antalya and Antalya and the Mediterranean in the Mediterranean.” “Heavy rainfall is expected on the Eastern Mediterranean coast.” he said.

Stating that the rains will shift eastwards on Sunday and Monday, Acar stated that the rains will be effective in the Southeastern Anatolia Region and the south of Eastern Anatolia. Acar said, “Temperatures may fall below seasonal norms in places that receive rainfall, in the Aegean and Marmara, but we do not expect too much cold.” he said.

Stating that Turkey will be under the influence of this rainy system until Tuesday, but they expect a new rainy system to come on Thursday, Acar said, “The rains will continue in the next 10-day period. The rains expected in the Aegean and Mediterranean on Saturday and Sunday will not cause floods and floods.” “There is a high probability. We will issue warnings about this.” he said.

Acar also noted the following regarding the snowfall in the dormitory:

“We do not expect snowfall in city centres. There is a possibility of snowfall only next week in cities such as Erzurum, Kars, Ardahan, Van, Hakkari’s highlands, Erzincan and Tunceli. We do not expect snowfall in the central and western parts of the country.”
