Analyst Avenir Peka has criticized the rule of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, speaking about over concentration on Mitrovica’s issue during his four -year term.
“During this 4-year term, all Albin Kurti’s rule has spent all the energy in Mitrovica. With the so -called dialogue with Serbia, it has actually been trying to introduce the territory of Kosovo into control and Mitrovica has been seen more. What we saw in the elections were the return of Serbs to institutions, participating in local elections“, Peka said.
According to him, the return of the Serbs and the participation in the local elections are indicative of a political tactic, not necessarily a sustainable solution for the North of Kosovo.
