Osmani: Kosovo supports the US in the fight against organized crime and terrorism

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has stated that Kosovo will stand strongly alongside the United States of America in the fight against transnational organized crime, terrorism, drug cartels and criminal regimes.

In a recent statement, she announced that she has issued a presidential decree to fully harmonize the naming of foreign terrorist organizations from Kosovo with US President Donald Trump’s executive orders of January 2025.

These orders declare international drug cartels and criminal organizations as foreign terrorist organizations.

This decree and statement by President Osmani underline Kosovo’s commitment to support US international initiatives in the fight against global threats, strengthening strategic cooperation between the two countries.
