The Central Election Commission (CEC) today unanimously approved the announcement of the final results of the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, which were held on June 7. This official decision comes after the completion of all regular procedures and evaluation of the counting process.
The Chairman of the CEC, Kreshnik Radoniqi, announced that before the announcement, the secretariat’s report on the recount of 185 polling stations was examined. According to him, this process did not produce any serious findings or omissions that would dictate the need for further national recounts.
“The evidenced differences have been minimal and are mainly related to the recategorization of ballots from invalid to valid, as well as human error during the initial counting. Therefore, no basis has been found that would require the expansion of the process,” declared Radoniqi.
The results of political subjects and the division of mandates
From the final results announced, the four major Albanian parties secured the vast majority of seats in the parliament, while the rest went to the subjects of national minorities.

Other minority subjects such as Za Slobodu, Pravdu i Opstanak (Nenad Rašić), Vakat coalition, IRDK (Elbert Krasniqi), NDS, SDU (Duda Balje), SAP, PLE, JGP AND United Roma Party have secured 1 mandate each, thus completing the reserved quotas.
Who are the members of the Assembly of Kosovo?
According to the official lists read by the chairman of the CEC, the candidates who secured enough votes to represent their subjects in this legislature are as follows:

Deadline for appeals and certification
With the announcement of the final results, the law provides for a last legal window for disgruntled parties. All subjects and candidates have the right to submit their complaints to the Electoral Panel for Complaints and Submissions (PZAP) within a period of 48 hours.
If during this period there will be no contestations or complaints filed, the CEC will immediately proceed with the official certification of the results, this step which paves the way for the calling of the constitutive session of the Assembly and the formation of new institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
