The Razr Fold has a 6.6-inch external display that turns into an 8.09-inch internal display with 2K resolution when unfolded. It is equipped with a large battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh, which, according to the manufacturer, will allow users to capture and edit content for hours.
This is Motorola’s first foray into this type of folding phone. “Innovation has always been part of us, so we definitely think it’s the right time for us to come up with a foldable phone,” says Daniela Vargas, product marketing manager for the Razr series.
“Now that the market has changed so much, we are ready to bring this device because consumers are no longer asking ‘should I get a foldable phone’, but rather ‘which foldable phone should I choose’. It’s great for us to be able to present a device that really covers all the needs of customers,” added Vargas at the Barcelona trade show.

Quality construction and camera
The construction of the novelty is relatively sophisticated. Under the display is an internal titanium plate that evenly distributes the pressure at the point of bending and allows the screen to return to its original shape after opening and closing.
The new Razr Fold also has three rear cameras and two front selfie cameras. Users can even shoot and edit video in 8K resolution.
“We have a main camera, an ultra-wide and a telephoto lens with zoom, as well as two selfie cameras. When the phone is closed, you have a 20-megapixel selfie camera, and when you open it, it’s a 32-megapixel one. It gives you real flexibility to use the phone exactly how you want,” explained Vargas.
She also gave an example from practice: “If you want a video call and have your phone open at the same time, it’s no problem.”

FIFA special edition
Representatives of the Chinese company in Barcelona promised that the Razr Fold will also be available in the Czech Republic. Its availability is expected in the second quarter of this year. In the basic edition, the novelty will be available for CZK 49,999.
However, there will also be a special FIFA World Cup 26 collection aimed at football fans. However, the price has already risen to CZK 59,999. And that is already a relatively ambitious price tag by Czech standards.
Folding phones are a significant trend at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year. The Chinese electronics manufacturer Honor is also presenting a new folding model at the MWC 2026 fair. Although folding phones were first presented at the MWC trade fair in 2019, they do not yet dominate the market.
