The Seznam Zprávy server informed about the event, the event was confirmed by Boris Šťastný, Minister of Motorists for Sport. “Now we are dealing with his health condition, he is not at his best,” said Šťastný.
“Today, there was a traffic accident during the journey of Culture Minister Oto Klempíř to work. After the accident, the Minister was taken to the Ministry of Culture by a replacement vehicle, where he began to experience health problems,” Barbora Šťastná, spokeswoman for Motoristů and the Ministry of Culture, told Novinkám.
“For this reason, the medical emergency service was called, which transported the minister to the Central Military Hospital for further examinations. We will inform you about their results and the minister’s state of health,” she added.
“The vehicle was driving with the warning device on,” Prague police spokesman Jan Daněk told Novinka about the accident.
According to Novinek Klempíř, he suffered a blow to his head in the accident, so a CT scan must be performed to rule out possible internal injuries. In the minister’s car, the airbag was activated during the collision. However, the minister has no obvious injuries.
Due to the traffic accident, the trams were delayed for a short time, the lines were diverted at the scene of the event for approximately twenty minutes. The accident was also reported to the police.
