The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has held a meeting with the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, within the High Level Week of the United Nations General Assembly.
Kurti announced that during the meeting he thanked Trump for his support for increasing defense investments within NATO. According to Prime Minister Kurti, NATO membership remains one of Kosovo’s goals. He has also emphasized the importance of relations with the United States, describing them as “the main ally, irreplaceable partner and special friend” of Kosovo.
The meeting took place during the high-level activities of the UN General Assembly in New York.
