The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo and the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, has sent an invitation for a meeting to the leaders of the parties that have been in the opposition until now, to discuss the creation of new institutions after the early elections.
The news has been confirmed by the spokesperson of the Government of Kosovo, Arlind Manjhuka, who announced that the invitations have been sent to the head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Bedri Hamza, the head of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, as well as the head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ardian Gjini.
“Yes, this morning Prime Minister Kurti sent a letter for a meeting to the three chairmen of PDK, LDK and AAK”Manjuka stated.
The invitations come a day after the certification of the results of the elections held on June 7 by the Central Election Commission. The meetings are expected to focus on the steps for the formation of new institutions and political developments after the election process.
