Kurti announces victory and expresses readiness for cooperation with other parties

Albin Kurti, the head of the Vetëvendosje Movement, has announced the victory of his party in the parliamentary elections during a rally in “Skënderbeu” square in Prishtina.

He declared that this is the fifth victory of Vetëvendosje in less than seven years, describing it as evidence that “this decade belongs to the governance of Vetëvendosje”.

Kurti thanked the supporters for their trust and emphasized that his party has managed to overcome great challenges, placing the public interest above everything. He promised that he will cooperate with all political parties, seeing as a priority the interest of the citizens and the sovereign Republic.

In his speech, Kurti said that the executive institutions of the country are functional, but that the Parliament remains blocked by the opposition. He assured the citizens that “the state is in safe hands” and that the work of the government will continue without interruption.

His main message was that Vetëvendosje will lead Kosovo during this decade, describing the party as the force that unites workers, enterprises, agriculture, infrastructure and care for citizens.

We combine the security of the state and borders with the well-being of citizens. There are no difficulties that we have not overcome, because now there is a state for everything, and we are everything for the state”. Kurti said, using the party’s slogan.

He stated that the citizens have a guarantee for good governance in the LVV, while he added that the party is interested in working, unlike the “opposition bloc”.

He also said that the 11th legislature should start as soon as possible and warned of meetings and talks with all parties in the coming days.
