Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met this Tuesday (August 26) in Belgrade with the European Union special representative for Serbia-Kosovo dialogue, Peter Sorensen.
Vucic and Sorensen met for the first time on March 25 in Belgrade, when the Serbian president acquainted Sorensen with the problems facing the Serbian people in northern Kosovo and reiterated that the formation of the Serbian municipal union is a prerequisite for the beginning of the substantial normalization of relations.
Vucic and Sorensen also met on June 13 in Prague as part of the Global Security Forum “Globsec 2025”, where the Serbian president guaranteed the country’s commitment to finding a compromise solution through dialogue and reiterated that the formation of the Serbian community is of key importance to the process.
