Katy Perry sexually assaulted me, claims the Australian actress

“Katy Perry sexually assaulted me at the Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne. Who cares what she thinks,” Rose first wrote in response to an article about Katy Perry published by Complex magazine on social media. The post was later deleted, the American station said.

Rose initially claimed on the networks that she was “not interested” in filing criminal charges against the singer, but later indicated that she had actually decided to file one, but that she could not talk about it publicly.

“This is a standard police request and in many ways quite a relief,” she wrote, adding: “I can now begin the healing process.”

Katy Perry denied the allegations through her representative, who said in a statement to CNN before the investigation was announced that Rose’s allegations were “categorically false” and constituted “dangerous and reckless lies.”

Australia’s Victoria Police confirmed in a statement to CNN that officers from the Melbourne Child Abuse and Sexual Offenses Investigation Team are investigating allegations arising from the incident, which is said to have taken place in Melbourne’s central business district.

They refused to comment further because it is an ongoing investigation.
