Get ready, a barrel of oil will cost 200 dollars. Iran announced a change in attack tactics

“Get ready for a barrel of oil to be at $200 because the price of oil depends on the regional security that you have destabilized,” Zolfaqari said, referring to the US-Israeli strikes against Iran.

At the same time, the spokesman of the unified command of the Iranian armed forces, according to Reuters, threatened that any ship or tanker heading to the US, Israel and their allies would be a “legitimate target” for Iran.

“We will not allow even one liter of oil to reach the USA, the Zionists (Israel) and their partners,” he threatened.

At least three vessels were hit by Iranian drones and missiles in the Strait of Hormuz. The crew of one of them, which was hit 20 kilometers from the coast of Oman and caught fire, had to be evacuated.

Another ship was hit by a projectile roughly 93 kilometers northwest of Dubai, and a third container ship was damaged 46 kilometers off the coast of the United Arab Emirates.

On Tuesday, the container ship Mayuree Naree, sailing under the Thai flag, was hit by fire in the Strait of Hormuz. Most of the crew managed to leave the ship in a lifeboat, the Thai Navy said. The incident brings the number of merchant ships hit since the start of the war to 14.

The current war in the Middle East began with American and Israeli strikes on Iran on the morning of Saturday, February 28. Shortly thereafter, the Islamic Republic launched military retaliation and began attacking Israel and American bases and other targets in the Persian Gulf with missiles and drones.

Iran also attacks traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. On Monday, the Revolutionary Guards blackmailed the world by offering to allow any Arab or European country to sail through the Strait of Hormuz if they expelled the Israeli and American ambassadors.
