Geography Geography Interview in Tirana

In Tirana, the capital of Albania, an interview on “Our Geography from Nile to Danube” was held.

Rector of Muş Alparslan University Dr. Mustafa Alican’s guest and under the auspices of Türkiye’s Embassy in Tirana Yunus Emre Institute (Yee) Tirana organized by Tirana, representatives of Turkish institutions and organizations in the country, academics and students attended.

Speaking at the opening of the program Yee Albania Director Oguzhan Sakoglu, Prof.Dr. Dr. Alican said that they organized such a program within the framework of his journey to the Balkan countries and wished that the participants would benefit from this interview.

Prof. Dr. Alican said to the AA correspondent that the historical roots between Türkiye and the Balkans are based on centuries.

Pointing out that there are very intense ties between Anatolia and the Balkan geographies, Alican said, “The positive ties between communities and geographies should not disappear, they need to be built and revived, and we are trying to do it.” he said.

“As Muş Alparslan University, Anatolian and Balkan peoples can be aware of each other, to cooperate with each other and to contribute more to each other,” Alican said that they have visited various universities and communities in the Balkans for a week. he said.

Alican also added that they have made various agreements with a few universities in Albania, Northern Macedonia, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a university.
