The voting process for the June 7 elections is taking place under regular conditions and without problems, said the chairman of the Central Election Commission, Kreshnik Radoniqi, reports KosovaPress.
He said that, based on the preliminary data from 97 percent of the polling stations, 162 thousand 438 voters or 8.29 percent have voted by 11:00, while at the same time for the last parliamentary elections on December 28, 2025, 8.27 percent or 165 thousand 404 voters have voted, based on the data from about 94 percent of polling stations.
“Also, relying on the preliminary data we received from more than 97% of the polling stations, the number of citizens with the right to vote who voted until 11:00 is 162 thousand 439 voters or 8.29% of 1 million 959 thousand 962 voters. Until the same time, in the elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, held on December 28, 2025, according to according to the data from about 94% of the polling stations, 8.27% or 165 thousand 404 voters had voted out of 1 million 999 thousand 204 voters,” he said.
According to him, until now there is no problem that would affect the general progress of the election process. He announced that the CEC has put into operation the operating room, where CEC officials are involved, as well as representatives of the State Prosecutor’s Office, the Kosovo Police and KEDS.
“We inform you that the voting process for the early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo is taking place according to plans in all the municipalities of the country. According to the data reported by the Municipal Election Commissions, until this time, the voting is taking place in regular conditions and without problems that would affect the general smooth running of the election process. Voting in the polling stations is continuing in accordance with the established election procedures”, he concluded.
