Bayraktar TB2 UAVs entered the Albanian Army’s inventory

Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar stated that Bayraktar TB2 SİHAs have entered the inventory of the Albanian army and said, “Bayraktar TB2s successfully completed their first flights in the skies of Albania today.”

Bayraktar, in his post on X regarding the issue, stated that today is a historic day and that the first NATO Tactical Air Base in Albania has been opened.

Emphasizing that the opening of the Kuçova Air Base is the beginning of a new era for the security of the Balkans and Europe, Bayraktar noted the following:

“With this ceremony, Bayraktar TB2 UAVs entered the inventory of the Albanian army. Thus, an aircraft at NATO standards was added to the inventory of the Albanian army for the first time. With the visionary leadership of the esteemed Prime Minister Edi Rama and the strong cooperation of the esteemed Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi, Bayraktar TB2s successfully completed their first flights in the skies of Albania today.”

Haluk Bayraktar, “The fact that our Bayraktar TB2 UAVs are deployed at this strategic point is an important indicator of our contribution to the security of Albania and the brotherly Balkan geography,” he said, adding that as Baykar, they will continue to contribute to regional and global security with their innovative technologies.

On the other hand, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Albanian Defense Minister Niko Peleshi shared the video containing images of Bayraktar TB2s entering the inventory on their social media accounts.
