Ballotage in Kosovo, the municipalities that won the political subjects

The extent of political parties in the 38 municipalities of Kosovo has become clear after holding the runoff for mayors in 18 municipalities on November 9.

In the first round of elections, held on October 12, the mayors elected 20 municipalities.

Based on the preliminary data of the Central Election Commission (CEC) on November 9, the results are as follows:

LDK: Pristina, Peja, Dragash, Viti and Junik

LVV: South Mitrovica, Fushë Kosovë, Gjilan and Obiliq

AAK: Gjakovë, Suharekë, Klinë and Rahovec

DCP: Prizren, Vushtrri and Kaçanik

SERBIAN LIST: Klokot

Turkish party KDTP: Midwife

The results of the CEC do not include votes by mail and those of persons with special needs.

In the first round – on October 12 – the results were as follows:

VV: Kamenica, Podujevo and Shtime

PDK: Skenderaj, Ferizaj, Hani i Elezit

LDK: Istog and Lipjan

AAK: Decan

SERBIAN LIST: Leposavic, Novobërdë, Shtërpce, Zubin Potok, Zveçan, Graçanicë, Ranillug, Partesh and North Mitrovica.

INITIATIVE: Malisheva

In Drenas, the initiative of Ramiz Lladrovci has won.

Based on these results, it appears that the Vetëvendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo have won seven municipalities, the Democratic Party of Kosovo six municipalities, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo five municipalities, while the Serbian List has won 10.

The turnout in the first round was over 40 percent, while in the second round over 32 percent.
