Balkan Thinking Institutions Meeting Concluded

With the support of the Presidency of Overseas Turks and Relative Communities (YTB), the closing event of the 5th Balkan Thinking Institutions Meeting, organized by the Foundation of Politics, Economics and Society Research (SETA), was held in SETA Ankara.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of the European Union (EU) Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, in his speech here, Türkiye’s policy towards the Balkans is to support the prosperity and stability of the countries, he said.

Pointing to the importance of the role of young people and women in building new bridges for the prosperity and stability of the region, Bozay stated that there is a great brain drain in the Balkans and said, “I believe that all of us should give importance to new projects and policies.” he said.

Bozay, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Romania, Bulgaria, such as young people and women in Türkiye to remain in the countries of young people and women in the country, underlining that it is important to create opportunities, the future transformation and green economy in the fields of need for employment said.

Member of the Presidency Security and Foreign Policy Committee. Dr. Murat Yeşiltaş said that the experts from Balkan thinkers had the opportunity to develop the opportunity and alternative policy on common problems.

Referring to the importance of such meetings for future collaborations, Yeşiltaş reminded that the first meeting was held in Ankara in 2015, then in Pristina in 2016, in 2022 and Tamışvar in 2024.

Yeşiltaş shared the information that this year’s meeting was attended by 32 thoughts from 32 thinks institutions from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Greece, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Slovenia and Türkiye.
