Apple pie made from shortcrust pastry

Divide the dough into two parts, one of which may be slightly larger. Roll it out so that it covers the bottom and sides of the mold. Place it inside her and align your fingers. Pierce the bottom with a fork. Next, layer the apple filling on the dough and smooth it evenly with a spatula. Roll out the second part of the dough, cut it into strips with a knife or a ruler. Place them on top of each other to form a grid. But you can interweave the strips of dough as you like, make them into braids or just lay them randomly over the apples. If any dough will extend over the mold, cut it off with a knife. You can also shape decorations such as flowers or leaves from the scraps.
