Anti -Albanian calls in Kumanovo, still no culprit two weeks after the incident

Although 15 days have passed from racist and anti -Albanian calls During the Macedonian and Northern Basketball match – Romania in Kumanovo, no authorities still identified any authors behind the incident.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs in Northern Macedonia, asked by Portalb.mk what they have reached with the procedures for identifying people who spread hate speech in Kumanovo, have briefly responded that “measures are being taken to fully disclose the case”.

The incident was recorded on August 2, when some of the rostrums were heard heavy messages such as “the good Albanian is the dead Albanian” and “Gas Room for Albanians”, in the presence of Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and the government delegation. Mickoski reacted later condemning the calls, but said he had “not heard” while in the hall.

The event has caused strong reactions in Northern Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania, where it was described as an attack on coexistence and equality.
