According to Tasholli, the Albanian government, and in particular its leader, has had an active role not only in promoting protests in their support, but also in important international representations, both in the Council of Europe and the European Parliament.
According to him, the role of the Albanian government has been more active, at least through statements or on the ethnic premises of its articulation.
“Has given more support in this problem. The Albanian government has even made steps forward in the internationalization of this absurd, where there was space. We can remember different appearances in the Council of Europe or the European Parliament. So, there has always been an effort and a commitment by the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, which has been a constant moral support in every step or protest organized by our society in Kosovo. The Government of Albania, with the performance of Prime Minister Rama, in relation to us, has been a continuous support. ”
Regarding the role of Albin Kurti’s government in relation to the Special Court and KLA accused, analyst Tasholli stated that the government Kurti, towards the Special Court, has shown many forms of lack of interest in what is happening there.
“Here I have in mind the comparison with the interest that the state of Croatia had, and as a whole mechanism had to be activated to protect its war. Here we have been a kind of negligence and occasionally, important actors in power politics have been publicly articulated by sub -connotations, for what happened. It has often made fun of how events have developed. Are sometimes out of context for electoral benefits. ”
Criticizing the trial in the Hague Specialist Houses, analyst Ismail Tasholli commented, saying, “Citizens of Kosovo have had no other opportunity to be part of transparency because the Special Court has been bunkerized and we have always tried to articulate our dissatisfaction, because institutionally we have been unable to ask questions or ask for answers. Therefore, this symbolic protest serves to increase pressure and articulate dissatisfaction in various forms. But, apparently, we have said that at the outset, the work has not started well and this is going with many problems, and civic concerns are at the boiling point in relation to the Special Court and how it is treating these cases. ”
The analyst said that we still have nothing to do with the stage where the KLA leaders’ trial is located, because that court functions not with transparency.
“According to the course we are in the final phase, because the defense is already presenting witnesses, as was James Rubin, which was the voice of the White House at the time and the connection it had with Hashim Thaci. We hope to be close to the end, because this detention resembles a classical imprisonment, because the duration can be explained as a violation of human rights.”
From the beginning, this court has been political and not focused on the legal process.
