The accident occurred between the villages of Rouchovany and Šemíkovice within sight of the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant.
“Around half past five in the afternoon, we received a report of a traffic accident. A man riding an electric scooter lost control and crashed. The man’s breath test showed the presence of alcohol,” said police spokeswoman Michaela Lébrová, adding that the man breathed over two per million.
Rescuers also had to go to help the drunkard. “After the accident, we treated the patient and transported him to the hospital in Třebíč,” confirmed the spokesman for the rescuers, Petr Janáček.
The man thus awaits not only healing of his injuries, but also tangles with the police.
