Acting Minister of Youth and Sports, Blerim Gashani, held a bilateral meeting with the French Minister, Marina Ferrari, within the International Meetings on Major Sporting Events (RIGES), where the main focus was Kosovo’s preparation for the 2030 Mediterranean Games.
During the meeting, according to Gashan, the depth of the Kosovo-France partnership and the support of France as one of the main allies in the process of organizing this great sports event were confirmed. He emphasized that the Mediterranean Games are not only a sports event, but a broad development platform that includes economy, infrastructure, institutional strengthening and sports diplomacy.
Also, the importance of youth and volunteerism was highlighted in the discussions, as well as the opportunities for technical cooperation with France in areas such as security, management of large events and operational expertise. Gashani has assessed that the 2030 Mediterranean Games are being built on strong partnerships and a long-term development vision for Kosovo. /KosovaPress/
