The Special Prosecutor’s Office together with the Kosovo Police are conducting a wide action, within which several locations have been raided.
According to reports so far, he is suspected of tax evasion, use of fictitious companies and money laundering, reports Kosova Press.
The spokeswoman of the Special Prosecution, Arbnora Luta, confirmed the news, but without providing additional details.
“We can confirm the police operation. For more details, we will inform you through a joint communiqué with the Kosovo Police”, she told KosovaPress.
One of the raids is believed to have happened on “Rrustem Statovci” street in Prishtina, where the KosovaPress team filmed members of the Special Unit. However, the Kosovo Police have not confirmed the connection of these raids with the presence of the Special Unit in “Rrustem Staatovci”.
