Protesters gathered in Belgrade stopped in several places during the march, including in front of some media buildings, where it was said that free media was dying; Before the Constitutional Court, where during the speeches the judiciary’s concern was raised in Serbia. Speakers said the system is an independent power only in books.
Serbian security forces prevented incidents during the march, when protesters passed by a park near the Serbian Presidency, where since the pro -government support month, mostly students have set up tents in opposition to student protests launched in November last year.
During the march, there were calls for early elections, transparent investigations into those responsible for the incident as well as free institutions and media. Similar marches were also held in Novi-Sad, where protesters closed the rally near the railway station building, where the accident happened on November 1, 2024.
