We contacted the assaulted journalist for a clarification of the event; he briefly commented the attack:
Yesterday at 7:30 a.m. an unknown man, who knocked at my door, attacked me. I opened the door and asked him what he wanted and he said that he had to paint my garage, which I don’t have. After I told him this, the man went away for a minute and came
back. I opened the door again and he punched me in the face. I fell on my back in the kitchen, and my wife immediately informed the police about the event.
The journalist said that just four weeks ago his car burned down; it was parked 150 metres from the entrance to his apartment. It was determined that it was arson.
I’m completely convinced that those two attacks are connected with my journalistic work on uncovering crimes. Criminals simply want to silence me!, Håkan Slagbrand for Fairpress.
